BioWho am I?
My name is Jay, and my passions include politics, discussions on religion and theism, and the philosophy of the greats. Of course, those are interests or hobbies. Nothing can compare to family and friends, and I try to treat mine like gold. My spare time is generally spent in study for my major, sociology, however I am also known for spending hour upon hour working on art projects or writing music. The band that I front is called Bishop, and the cause of the band is something I feel very noble. Music pulled me from the depths of the world and put me back on the track to success... I owe a lot to music and I intend on making good on my promises to pay it back.
Deep down, I am a social person, however. At times I am disgraced by my own gender; a lot of males are pigs (and girls smell a lot better anyway). Love and devotion are a critical part of society and no one seems to like those ideas anymore. This has pissed me off, and urges me to correct society however I can. Hence, I have learned how to fight mentally and physically.
There are weeks where you will find me immersed in the new video games that come out. Since I sell the things and I have a collection and access of literally thousands of games that range from NES to the Xbox. Ironically, I only spend an hour or two a week playing games. Also, I train with knives, swords, the bo staffs, but those were for the most part out of interest and discipline, not to live out digital daydreams. You can find me crusing the internet looking for flash animation and a good political forum from time to time as well. Though my true love is for words and literature, I generally only read the news.
Sometimes induviduals feel the need to call me and asshole or insult my judgement. Like George Carlin, I try to better society by pointing out it's flaws. My criminal hatreds include whores, selfishness and stupid people. Since I make no misconceptions about who I am and what I do, it tends to piss people off quite a bit. My friends all know me as a different person then my accusers, which is fine by me. There is most likely a reason they aren't my friends to begin with. This means often I am forced to simply state, "Look, I'm not an asshole, I'm just an asshole to you."
When I finish this whole college thing, I'm going into journalism. Most likely of the broadcast variety. However, to start, I may end up in multicultural advertising, since that is a feild that makes a lot of money and social sciences are my major anyway.
